Certified Credible Leader (CCL) Certification 

The Commission certifies Criminal Justice Professionals as “Credible Leaders“.

A Credible Law Enforcement Leader is a professional that protects and serves through “Ethical Leadership” (knowledge, skills, practices, and actions) with a full sense of automatic accountability and responsibility, reliably.  They are exemplary men or women who regardless of their rank take a 360 degree approach to ethical leadership in everything they do.

This certification begins when an individual (sworn or civilian) of a criminal justice agency successfully completes the required Continuing Education curriculum set forth by his/her organization in collaboration with the International Academy of Public Safety. Credible Law Enforcement Organization (CLO) Certification

The Commission certifies Criminal Justice Organizations as “Credible Leadership Organizations“.

A Credible Leadership Organization is an agency that protects and serves through “Ethical Leadership” reliably with a full sense of automatic accountability and responsibility.  A CLO is an exemplary organization that shapes (ethical leadership knowledge, skills, practices, and actions) and encourages exemplary men and women regardless of rank to take a 360 degree ethical leadership approach to everything they do.

This certification begins when an employee of a criminal justice agency becomes a Certified Credible Leader (CCL) through the Commission. The organization is then automatically enrolled as a Credible Law Enforcement Organization in Development. For an organization to become fully certified as a CLO, the organization must meet criteria set forth by the Commission.  Read More …
