Institute for Credible Leadership Development

The Institute for Credible Leadership Development (ICLD) is a division of the International Academy of Public Safety (IAPS) responsible for administering leadership development curriculum for law enforcement globally.

The Institute’s founders and executives believe that every officer is a leader.  We recognize that from the moment men and women swear to the oath of office and put on their “badge” of distinction, they are looked upon as leaders in their community and within their scope of responsibilities.  It is our vision to equip all public safety leaders and future leaders with the knowledge and skills required to enhance operational efficiency and health, sustain public trust, reduce liabilities and retain the best talent.

The Credible Leadership Series of courses has been designed for and is adopted by individual law enforcement organizations.  The ICLD is delivered on-line, can dramatically reduce training costs, is interactive, self-paced and intended to be delivered to all personnel.  This way everyone in your organization can speak the same language about leadership and be in alignment about what to expect of leaders.  These courses are a perfect complement to the nationally recognized law enforcement leadership programs.  The main advantages are that the ICLD courses are:

~  up-to-date,
~  researched and field-tested
~  knowledge and competency-based, and
~  geared toward developing the intellect while enhancing the leadership skills of all personnel in your agency.

Employees who participate in this program evolve and the following attributes emerge. . .
